I recently had the absolute pleasure of working with Jadyn and Julia for their Sammamish twin senior portraits. These two are incredible seniors from the Class of 2026 at Eastlake High School. Not only are they finishing high school, but they are also busy conquering the Running Start program at Bellevue College!
Originally, their mom wanted quick yearbook photos. However, we decided to curate a full senior experience instead. We wanted to celebrate their unique personalities, their artistic talents, and their sisterly bond.
Planning the Perfect Look
We headed to a stunning park in Sammamish for those “nature and forest vibes.” Even though it was January, the Washington weather was perfect. We lucked out with a beautiful, sunny afternoon!
The preparation for this session was a blast. Both girls love oversized clothing, so we created a custom style plan. First, we met at Marshall’s to find specific pieces. We found outfits that were stylish, comfortable, and reflected their true selves.
Two Looks, One Perfect Session
For the first look, Julia wore a cozy green sweater. Jadyn rocked a cream sweater with her favorite black Doc Martens.
Next, the girls changed into their second looks. Julia wore a cool cropped sweater and black boots from her mom’s closet, while Jadyn styled a chocolate brown vest with white Air Maxes. Although they were a bit shy when we first met, our pre-session planning and shopping trip at Marshall’s made all the difference. Because we spent that time together beforehand, they arrived at their session feeling totally relaxed. It turned into such a fun experience, and they both left the shoot feeling so confident!
Bright Futures Ahead
These two have such bright futures. Julia is a gifted artist and fossil collector who plans to be a dental hygienist. Jadyn is a baker and advocate headed to USF to study psychology. Jadyn will graduate high school with her AA degree!
We wrapped up the session at sunset with some heartfelt family photos, including the family dog. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful day.

I started taking photos as a way to bring healing to our world and tell the stories of the amazing human beings in my local community before they no longer could tell their story. Because, I didn't have that opportunity with any of my parents and grandparents, they passed in my early 20's.
Since 2019, I have fell more passionately in love for photography and storytelling but also my love for empowering young people in my community. So I decided to bring both passions together to create Last Forever Images.
...I was adopted at the age of 3 months by an elderly couple who didn't have the tools to raise a baby to be an empowered Black Girl living in Snohomish County. I didn't find my Black Girl Magic or learn to love my authentic self until my early-mid 20's.
I now believe my life long mission is to teach young people to find who they are and love themselves fully and to never let someone define who they are are who they should become.
